1 can evaporated milk
3 lbs hamburger
2 cups quick oats
2 eggs
1 cup chopped onions
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
2 tsp. chili pwd
Mix and make about 50 med. sized meatballs.
Sauce:
1 1/2 brown sugar
2 cups ketchup
2 tsp. liquid smoke
1/2 tsp. garlic pwd.
1/2 cup chopped onions.
Combine sauce ing. in VitaMix and blend until smooth.
Pour sauce over meatballs. Bake 1 hour at 350. Cover first 1/2 hour.
These were very sweet with a hot spice. I think I would cut back just a bit on the chili pwd next time. It made a lot of meatballs so we will be having a couple of meals.
I made Meatball and Provolone subs toasted in the oven on crispy hoagie buns from WinCo. They were really yummy!
